Chapter three: Introduce Milicent and her family and the protagonist Mili’s father.
Chapter four: Everyday life in Johnstown in 1889. They meet.
Chapter five: A day at the South Fork Hunting and Fishing Club. They fall in love.
Chapter Six: The flood and escape. Love grows.
Chapter Seven: Coping with loss. Love grows stronger.
Chapter Eight: Back to 1936 at Roxbury Park with Lanz and Anton.
Chapter Nine: Life repeats and continues. Anton helps his son understand what is important in life.
