About

I am a native Western Pennsylvanian born in Johnstown.  Johnstown was my only home until the summer after my 17th birthday when I discovered that I could live with my friends at the beach.  Ocean City, Maryland became my summer residence for the next 3 years and I realized I loved the ocean.  After several years in college I was hired and relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida by a large finance corporation.  That experience taught me plenty but did not last long.  After my services were no longer needed I reflected on the things that are important to me.  Through heavy soul searching and lots of contemplating I found myself back in school pursuing a career as a high school social studies teacher.
